The Chiweenie is not a pure bred dog. It is a cross between the Chihuahua and the Dachshund. This hybrid cross is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club and ME. Hahahha. This dog is great, especially its name. Hahahahha.
By the way, have a fantastic weekend everyone. I will be busy studying for THREE tests that are next week. Oh man... wish me luck!!

I was lucky enough to receive 2 chiweenie pups. They are the best boys ever!!! I also love the name...how can you not smile when you say chiweenies hehehe.

i have a doxie/chi mix. i HATE the name chiweenie (sorry) it just annoys me. i found my sweetheart at the local pound. i work with my local spca, so i get to rescue lots of doggies from the kill-shelters. Peggy Sue *my doxie/chi* just stole my heart..and i adopted her! she's a wonderful sweet girl. she's very gentle even with the smallest of children *of course they are supervised* and he doesn't chew up anything, although she does like to steal the bed when im not using it. HA! i just wish ppl wouldn't buy these dogs from breeders. i see SO many "designer dogs" in the shelter system. every day we pick up a new puggle, chi-poo, chiweenie, malti-poo, something-er-other....and it's sad. these are sweet darlings...but please please adopt first!

I have a Chiweenie and I absolutely LOVE her! The cutest and sweetest dog and the best personality!
I just adopted a chiweenie puppy from our local shelter....and I could not be happier...I simply adore him. He is adorable and has such a personality. Everyone who meets him immediately falls in love with him....
I have a Chiweenie, and she is the sweetest dog I have ever met. It only took a few days for her to win me over, and now I cannot imagine not having her around :).
I have 2 chiweenies Hercules and Zeus they r 9weeks and brothers.
