Pet Savers!

This is Alexandra "Alex" Walters and Danielle "Dani" Neal and the German Shephards that they care for. They started an organization called Pet Savers when they were 17 year olds as part of a four year extracurricular program at Edison High School known as CENTER of INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AND COMMUNICATION STUDIES(CIBACS).

The PET SAVERS are affiliated with the German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County(GSROC), which is a non-profit, tax deductible organization commited to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing German Shepherd dogs.

They help to save dogs like this one, named Nani, who was hit by a car.

And this one, Duke, who needs hip surgery for his hip dysphasia.

Pet Savers will raise $10,000 to GSROC to fund the surgeries of 8 dogs that are homeless. They are determined and excited! They know they cannot do this alone and need your help.

If you would like to check out their website go to www.geocities.com/thepetsavers/. You can also check out their Myspace page where they have pictures of the dogs that they are helping. They also provide more background information about what they are specifically doing.

They are very committed to their cause and in helping these eight dogs. If you wold like to help send some help along to:

They are also having an auction on Ebay to raise more money. Click here to check out their items for sale.
