If you are interested in going here is what is going on there:

The event is Sun., Oct. 29, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. The parade starts at Livingston Park, 4900 E. Livingston Dr. (@ Park Ave.), Long Beach, 90803. The 12-block sidewalk parade takes place on Second St. between NEW Roycroft and Granada avenues and lasts about an hour. More than 550 dogs last year helped us to raise more than $10,000! More costumed dogs are expected this year!! Vendor and adoption fair runs 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Kids' Costume Contest at 4:30 p.m. at Livingston Park. All events are free to spectate. Volunteers needed. Contact JustinRudd@aol.com.

ENTRY
$10 per parade dog. (Or, just $25 for entry w/ a cool Haute Dog t-shirt). Win great prizes! $2 for kids' costume contest.

VIP (Very Important Pooch)
$35 includes an official Haute Dog t-shirt and the dog/owner can walk near the front of the parade.

REGISTRATION & YAPPY HOUR
Pre-parade "feast"-ivities will include vendor booths, bobbing for Howl'oWeenies, a dog treat stacking contest, a Bulldog Kissing Booth, disc dog demonstrations (Disc Dogs in So. Calif., 1 & 3 p.m.), fun contests, a huge animal adoption fair, photo opportunities, and preliminary canine costume judging (judges start roaming the park at 2 p.m.) .


Mike and I are planning on going and getting a lot of good pictures. If you are interested in going let me know. Maybe we can meet up :-) I will be there with Ender and Emily!!

Great photos! I haven't forgotten about you Cara. It seems like one thing after another. I finally got the scanner working. Now I just have to get some photos together.

it was really windy today in albany. Wilma is terrified of the wind. She stayed indoors most of today and hid underneath tables. It was sad/sweet/cute
